Alterations and Improvements

As a tenant of Rosehill, we encourage you to keep your home and garden to a good standard, part of this, for many tenants, is carrying our alterations and improvements.

Our most common requests made are:

• Change light fittings
• Laminate flooring
• Tiling / wallboards
• Installation of over bath shower
• Installation of Sky
• Erect a garden shed

What you need to know:

• Read our information leaflet
• You do not require permission to decorate your home with paint / wallpaper
• You do not require permission to lay carpets or vinyl flooring
• You must complete an alterations and improvements application and await permission in writing from Rosehill before starting works
• Permission for alterations and improvements will come with conditions at must be met
• You may be entitled to compensation at the end of your tenancy for improvements
• If you are applying for garden shed, greenhouse or decking – read the specific information  leaflet for this
